The “Professional Studio” has been designed primarily as a complete solution for professional instructors, club-fitters and golf retailers who have had to utilize several independent technologies for video swing analysis, clubfitting, capturing ball launch data and measuring swing dynamics to properly service their customers.The High Definition Golf™ simulator utilizes computer vision technology to provide the industry’s most accurate measurements of ball launch data and club head speed and position through impact to realistically portray ball flight in high definition.
The HD Golf Professional Studio model utilizes the same computer and easy to use touch screen, but integrates the additional cameras and software to provide all the data consumers expect when purchasing high quality professional instruction and clubfitting services.
HD Golf™ Video Swing Analysis
The HDG Video Swing Analysis module uses high-speed cameras (120 frames per second) with special wide-angle lenses to capture data.
Our video playback will always be sharp and easy for players and coaches to review. The HDG cameras will also work well in low light and in situations where space is at a premium, such as an indoor hitting bay. The competitors use standard DV camcorders (average of 30 frames per second) to capture data and they tend to produce blurry images. Most DV camcorders may operate poorly in low light conditions rendering footage that may be useless for teaching purposes.
Automated swing capture
Our system features automated swing capture and doesn’t require an operator to hit a key on the keyboard to trigger the swing capture. Some competitive systems rely on acoustic triggers for swing capture but these tend to work poorly in noisy environments and can be very frustrating to operate.
The Perfect Swing composite swing model

HDG Video Swing Analysis is the only simulator that features the Perfect Swing, a composite swing model developed in conjunction with world-renowned golf instructor Jim McLean. The Perfect Swing incorporates the swings of Ernie Els, Ben Hogan and Tiger Woods and the result is of course perfect!
Editing Tools
HDG Video Swing Analysis module is feature-rich and includes a complete set of drawing and editing tools that can be accessed easily from the touch screen. Features include: freeze frame, side by side comparison, slow motion playback and the ability to save swings for later review.
HD Golf™ Shaft FLEX measurment system
This new module uses advanced computer vision technology to make a comprehensive series of highly accurate shaft measurements in “real-time.” As a result, club manufacturers and clubfitters will be able to let their customers test and compare a variety of golf clubs and shafts with new confidence. The system in turn will generate a detailed report that can be viewed on screen, printed or emailed to the customer for their personal records.
This cost-effective module is easy-to-use and integrates seamlessly into the HDG simulator and provides an extensive series of measurements that were never before available. The shaft flex module will measure overall shaft flex, club head acceleration, and position of maximum club head speed, angle of attack and load factor.
